Bobby Vaughan
Lead Pastor
Pastor Bobby and his wife Dawn were married in 1979, and have been blessed with three daughters and son-in-laws: Christen (Joe), Leah (Matt), Anna (Riley), and nine grandchildren. Pastor Bobby was born into the fellowship of Beck’s and has served in many capacities throughout the years. He transitioned into ministry in 1995 and later served on staff at Beck’s as the youth minister (1999-2002). He started a community ministry in 2003 that later incorporated as Alethes Ministries Inc. from 2005-present. He served as Pastor of Griffith Baptist of Winston Salem, NC from 2014-2021. In February 2023 he once again answered yes to his home church to become the Lead Pastor.

Pastor Bobby’s desire is to lead the church to be on a mission for Christ by making disciples who impact our neighborhood and the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ for the glory of God the Father. His passion is for the Lord Jesus Christ with special interests in church discipleship, evangelism, preaching, leadership, and vision casting. He loves reading God’s Word while relaxing at Happy Day Farm (his yard) and spending time with his family.
David Renegar
Associate Pastor to Senior Adults
David Renegar and wife Tammy have been married for 38 years. They are blessed with a beautiful family. Lydia Smith and husband Lee have 3 children: Collin, Lawson, and Claire. Lindsay Reich and her husband Chris have 2 children: Lyla & Hayes. David was the youngest child of Johnnie and Katherine Renegar, growing up in Oldtown. Johnnie started a mowing business when David was young and upon graduating high school, David made Renegar's Lawn Service a full time job that is still going strong today. David was also a volunteer fireman for many years.
David grew up attending Beck's. He accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 12. Through his work, fire department, and church, he has always had a heart for helping and ministering to people. For this reason, David was happy to accept the call to be the Associate Pastor to Senior Adults.
Steve Stone
Minister to Outreach and Missions
Steve Stone and his wife Frances have been married for 51 years. They are blessed with two children: Stephen Jr. and Susan (wife to Michael). They are also blessed with three grandchildren: Hunter (26), Will (24), and Luke (20).

Steve is from Mount Airy, NC where his parents, Frank and Annie Belle, raised him in a Christian home. He served four years in the Marine Corps and later retired from Sherwin-Williams after 33 years of service. At 53, he graduated from High Point University with a major in history and a minor in religion. Steve has a heart for serving and a love for working with young people. His desire is to see the kingdom of God grow, and with it make our church Christlike in everything we do.
Rachael and her husband Aaron were married in 2023 and have been serving in the Beck’s youth group together since 2020. Rachael was born into the Beck’s Church family and has served in the church in a variety of ways throughout her life including children’s ministry, praise band, youth ministry, and more. She is currently enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education. In 2023, she answered the call to ministry and now serves as Beck’s youth intern. Rachael’s vision for the Beck’s youth group is that our students will grow to know God more, be rooted in their faith, and to both become & make disciples.
